Hello!

Hello fellow CPD23-ers!

I've had a few unsuccessful attempts in the past at using social media to become more active within the library community (e.g. Twitter, Linked In, Oxford's 23 Things programme) but am hoping to make a more earnest attempt this time round.

  2. Hi Carly! Glad you're taking part too! :) I hope that knowing some people already will make it a little easier to get involved ...

  3. Hi Rachael, I am an academic librarian from Munich, Germany, and participating in the cpd23 quite for the same reasons as you - I hope to get a more detailed knowledge about all these things I should be able to understand more than I actually do - looking forward to reading your blog and getting more involved with librarians from other places! Caroline

  5. Hello! I'm also CPD23ing, and hoping it will encourage me to take a slightly less random approach to my CPD and online presence than earlier attempts.... I'm based in Cambridge but am not a librarian, I just hang out with them a lot and have heard so much about 23things, I didn't want to be left out! I'm a learning developer and research associate in student development, which involves quite a lot of the types of things we'll be exploring through this programme.

I'm also an ex-Oxford graduate - MML, tho, not English! Am wandering around slightly randomly 'meeting' other people participating in CPD23, largely chosen on how unusual their blog names are!

hope it's a positive experience for you and see you around online!
    Helen
